Kimberly Hart, President, has been involved in the electrical industry for over fifteen (15) years. She has been active in the administration and management of Blackwater Electric Company since its inception.






David Hart, Senior Vice President, has been involved in the electrical industry for over twenty-two (22) years. He graduated at the top of his class from the IBEW State Electrical Apprenticeship Program. He is a State Certified Journeyman Electrician with a Class A rating. David has nine (9) years of field experience and has been active in estimating and project management for fourteen (14) years.




Phillip James, Vice President, has been involved in the electrical industry for over nineteen (19) years. He graduated at the top of his class from the IBEW State Electrical Apprenticeship Program. He is a State Certified Journeyman Electrician with a Class A rating. Phillip has eleven (11) years of field experience including control work and has been active in estimating and project management for nine (9) years.




Thomas Sherwin, Senior Project Manager/Senior Estimator, has been involved in the Electrical Industry for fifteen (15) years and has been a member of the Blackwater Electrical team for over ten (10) years. He graduated at the top of his class from the IBEW State Electrical program and is a state certified Journeyman Electrician with a class A rating. Tom has eleven (11) years of field experience and has been active in Project Management and Estimating for four (4) years.

Ron Hartman, Project Manager, Ron manages the day-to-day operational aspects of projects. He is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing the work - on time and within budget for every client. Ron brings over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. He is a Certified Master Electrician with a Class A rating in the state of North Carolina and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Jim Hubert, General Superintendent, As a 21-year military veteran, Jim is responsible for all aspects of electrical services at Blackwater Electric. A licensed electrician and DCJS-qualified, Jim joined the IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship with a 2005 graduation with Honors.

Ryan Warp, Safety Manager, Ryan is responsible for all risk and safety management for the company, including total compliance with all OSHA, NFPA-70E, EM385, Claims management and DOT compliance. With experience since 2000 in construction and safety, he holds a Safety and Environmental Management degree and is certified with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a Construction Health and Safety Technician. He conducts regular training on all aspects of safety related topics.
